Took my eldest daughter and caught a mess of yellow perch this morning. Sautéed them in butter and lemon with some garlic and a dash of Creole seasoning. Served atop black soybean noodles, with garlic knots and Caesar salad. Not too shabby.
Yes sir, a fine eating fish. Just wish they came in a bigger size. Used to catch them by the bucket on Lake Burton, and below the Burton dam before they cut off access.
