Swing and a miss (hopefully)

Must have been a miss or a dry strike. We have many videos of this deer over the next week and see no signs of swelling or injury.

Didn't really imbed right

but it comes up and plays anyway. That is amazing - the odds of catching that have to be huge.

I think he missed the deer completely - or at least the deer didn't seem to run off like you would think.

Thanks for sharing - really cool

Very nice video !!! I once saw a deer stomp a snake flat . It took about five minutes of pouncing it with front feet .

That was an awesome video. I always wondered if they ever got struck by snakes and what happens to them if they do get bit. I think he got tagged on the face, he even shakes his head a little before he walks off. Let us know if he shows back up on cam anymore.

Cool video. I couldn't tell that type of snake, but could have been non venomous

That is a cool capture, I to have wondered if many get bitten and if they survive!

I found a dead snake this weekend. Looked like a deer stomped it.

Now that is a 1 in a million capture there. Looks like he got tagged to me, but I can't tell what kind of no shoulders it was

If you freeze it at the right moment you can tell it gets him in the face but you can't tell what kind of snake it is so we'll have to wait and see if the op finds a dead deer around his area.

That's a one in a million video right there!
Looks to me like the snake got him. If deer can often survive the iffy shots we put them through every fall then i bet they can survive a snake bit too. Or it could have been a dry bite.
