Tennessee Elk Hunt

Anyone ever look into the Tennessee elk hunt quotas? Went ahead and put in for it this year. Seen the big herd around Cherokee NC a few times but have never seen one anywhere you could hunt them or seen any on the Tennessee side.

Based on last years draw you’ve got around a 1 in 2200 shot of actually getting the tag, but figured why not. Imagine it would be a fun hunt if I were to somehow hit the lottery.

You can shoot them on the TN side outside the park.

Just make sure you have the appropriate hunting licenses.

I think you can only shoot one though?

What license did you purchase to apply for the hunt? I am a GA resident.
