Railroader
Billy’s Security Guard.
Me, The Kid, and Little Brother hit the pond down the road today for a little fishin'.
I was working with Little Brother on his casting, and The Kid struck out on his own with a 6" Crawfish Culprit.
He's pretty much on his own now, and doing his thing. He's been throwing a plastic worm the last couple trips, but hasn't managed to put it all together until today.
I was coaching Little Brother when we heard "PAPA, I GOT HIM!"
By the time I got there, he was about to toss the little bass back in the pond.
Y'all, I swear he had a new swagger in his step as he walked on around, fishin' the edges with his Culprit.
A short while later, I hear "YES!!" and he's bowed up again...
His hot streak came to a close with two missed bites, and one that got him in a grass mat and got off.. ?
Of course it "was a biggun!!"
He was all on his own today, and he did a good job.
In other news, Little Brother has improved his casting and line management a lot this summer, and he's about to the point I can turn him and his Spin-Dandy loose to start catchin' some fish.
That's him, steering around the weeds instead of thru them...
He had one good bite, but no hook-up today.
We had us a good time, and I am proud of my Grandboys!
