Timney Trigger for Ruger M77 Mark II

Drug my Ruger M77 Mark II 7mm RM out of the safe last fall, shot it a couple times to check the zero. Ugh, the trigger pull compared to other options I have was excessive to put it mildly.

I had a 'smith work on tang safety red pad .270 10-12 years ago and it is pretty darn good.

So, I ordered a Timney replacement for my 7mm.

I finally found a "round to it" and installed the new trigger yesterday. First step was to watch a video on Youtube.

The only tricky part was grinding off the excess material the safety contacts, each trigger must be ground off to fit the safety in your gun.

Presto, change O, a nice crisp, 2 pound trigger.

The new trigger should get my 7mm more opportunities to harvest some venison later this year.

Planning on putting a Timney in my new Remington Model Seven Synthetic 308. Put a Timney Elite Hunter in my Remington Model 700 Classic in 35 Whelen, love it.
