Tithing???????????????

My point really is I do not tithe in the sense that I give to a church. I tithe in my giving to those in need. I realize God wants us to tithe to the church. But aside from not being a member of a church, most of the churches I have visited spend the money on things I believe God would not want it spent on. I know we are supposedly not responsible for that but if you know it is not being spent as God wish you are contributing to the problem.

Randy, I think what you may be missing is the act of obedience, rather than what is done with that money. We are to be obedient to Gods commands in the act of tithing, because with that come self discipline. Think about it like that instead of the act of "spending".
