What a hunt This bird whooped me for 3 days last year and made it a point get at him..Fast forward to this evening strong storms hit at around 5 when we heard him hammer..He continued to gobble at thunder probably gobbled 300 times in an hour..Lightning was hitting everywhere and my buddy gave me that ur insane look but hey, he was gobbling..He broke from gobbling and crossed the bottom we were in at 75 yds in 3/4 strut and i just knew it was gonna be the same as he did last year..All of a sudden he gobbled up above me at 30 at the thunder and from my belly leaned up..He stuck that neck up and it was all over 1.25" spurs and a rope..Blessed is the only words i can think of for my first TN bird and #4 on the year
