Toccoa River tailwater trout (pics), Nov.

The last couple weeks of November was amazing on the Toccoa River tailwater. While everyday wasn't a numbers day, most days I was able to bring at least one really nice quality brown or rainbow trout to the boat. We caught fish on everything from spinning rigs and plugs to tiny dry flies and nymphs dredged deep. The weather has made it tough somedays, but you can count on the best action of the to happen between 2pm and dark thru the winter. If you fish this time of year, be sure to bundle up. Good thing the fish don't care about the cold weather.

Congrats on the stunning trout Joe. Those are some museum grade examples especially the browns. Very nice.

Haven't seen one in a while... like you took 'em all home that day.... please tell me you didn't eat one... ::ke: I'd imagine even finless browns before chubs.
