Tommy’s little brother Billy is no slouch either!

Tommy's Lonesome Boy From Dixie that he wrote and sang is one of my all-time favorite CDB songs. I was lucky enough to see CDB live a couple times back when Tommy was still there, and they had the Honkette-style female backup singers

I have seen him in concert more than anyone. And a bar in Tennessee late one night. He was singing songs solo that I had never heard. The bartender said he came in every now and then when he wrote a new song to see how people liked it before recording it.

Seen him for free at the north Georgia state fair on the 90’s. That was my first concert.

I always wondered why Charlie called him Richard in the song when everybody knew him as Dickie.
