Bad news day.

Just found out my friend Bud died yesterday.

87 years old is a pretty good run. Would have liked to have hunted with him a few more seasons.

Bud is one of my best friend's FIL. He's been hunting with us for going on 30 years.

Without him we would have never had the opportunities to hunt where we did. I realized years ago that we were the "kids" that he took hunting.

Tears. But the boss's wish was honored in the end.

Sorry to hear about that. I remember your mentioning his health problems in the last thread. Glad he got to hunt in his later years and glad he had such an impact on the generations after him. Thoughts are with the friends & family.
