In Eastern NC, 52 degrees here on the shores of the western Atlantic Ocean. Camp Lejeune Marine base just 12 miles below us, 48 degrees and Jacksonville NC as well. Just an hour or so away from us in southeastern NC some places were 46 degrees this morning, cooler than Raleigh the state capitol, which is over 130 miles inland from here.
Never seen a time when May and now June was this cool as I remember and I'm an old man. I'm not complaining at all love the cool weather and its not doing my tomatoes any good, but I don't want to talk about global warming anytime soon.
And yes I know we had another thread on this subject recently, the weatherman is saying another cool night for us tonight, well below average for our area.
