The Gainesville drop-off site for Hunters for the Hungry (HFTH) is short several volunteers for the Nov. 27 & 28 drop-off dates. HFTH gives hunter donated deer to the Atalnat Artea Foodbank, who then distributes to needy families. We were able to cover the Oct. dates but cannot find enough people to man the donation site, especially on Sunday the 28th. The site is open from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM and there are 2 shifts: 9am - 2pm and 2pm-8pm. We need at least 2 people for each shift so a minimum of 4 volunteers. If you can help us at all, please let me know ASAP. This is great cause and a worthwhile way to spend 5 or 6 hours helping needy families.
