Wading for flounder(gigging)

I am in Midway and was hoping maybe someone else is around me and wades to got flounder. I’m assuming the only access that’s 24/7 is Sunbury as Half-moon and Yellow Bluff have operating hours. I’m trying to find a good sand flat that’s close so I can take my kayak. I’ve done it around Bluffton without any issues.

Nice! Did you end up launching from Sunbury?? I’ve had some luck there in the past with hook & line but never tried gigging out of there. Definitely a lot of spots that look good on satelite though.

I actually launched from a lake by my house. Hopped the bank and ended up in a nice little tidal creek. You can get there from Sunbury but it’s a hike.
