Warwoman WMA

Hey folks! Headed up to Walhalla, SC for an AKC event. I'll only be a short drive from WarWoman WMA and the possibility of harvesting our first ever grouse. Can anyone give any advice on warwoman for grouse? A Private message would be greatly appreciated. I will reciprocate the favor for other species/areas. I am only after one bird not looking to return anytime soon as it's quite a drive.

Get above 2500’ and burn boot leather. I have seen one there. Sure there are a few more but just not a lot of grouse in GA in general. They are here but flushes are very special.

Well I hunted from 2300' to just over 3100'. Some really pretty country but no bird contacts this time. I'll be back.
