Wow, closest thing I ever saw to that is years ago someone in a GA club I was visiting shot a younger buck that had a piece of 2.5" white PVC collar stuck around his hoof. Looked like it had been there a while, his foot had kind of grown into it. All them fellers in the club had a laugh riot, accusing him of having the deer tied up to a tree until season opened.

I wonder if he walked through a tire swing and popped the rope.....
I’ve seen videos where they’ve gotten tangled in park swings out West.
