My GGG or so grandad came in a covered wagon from NC in early 1820's and lived in what was Campbell County.
Trying to research is tough because the county names changed back and forth.
He settled on a small farm and had a creek as his back property line, he called it his "camping creek" now known as Camp Creek, he is buried in a small cemetery that sits right along 285 near the airport.
