Allatoona 7/9/16, 7 species, big stripe!

Ok, so I cheated a little by counting shad to get 7 species...

Went out at 5am-10am, ended up with shad, crappie, bluegill, white bass, spotted bass, channel catfish and striper! We had another fish get off that I'd like to think was a hybrid...

Forgot my good camera, only have one picture of the biggest fish, 13 lb striper. Came on a u-rig 80 ft behind the boat, 3 mph.

Missed several other fish, but overall a nice morning. Water temp 85. Plenty of cloud cover early.

Nice job. Thought I'd try little River this morning and that was a bust. Two spots is all I managed.

This time of year I have the advantage, living close to gatewood ramp. You have it in spawning time in your neck of the woods...
