Compact tractor PTO lift leaking down

I’ve got a small compact Shibaura garden tractor that’s pretty much the same thing as an early model Ford 1100. I’ve had it for three yrs and it runs great and does real good for a 16 to 18 hp tractor but the lift leaks down. The lift is electric over hydraulic. It lifts good and lets down like it should so I’m thinking it’s just a seal or O ring somewhere but no clue where to start and no local tractor mechanics

My brother had an old Satoh compact tractor that did the same thing. I adjusted the knob under the seat and fixed it. i don't know the name of the knob.

No sir. I’m thinking it’s in the lift cylinder inside the back end somewhere but I don’t have a clue where to start looking
