Gambling , in any of its forms, is an insidious thing.
On the surface many see it as a victimless policy and an easy way to raise funds.
But, I have never seen gambling do anything but destroy lives.
While I agree, it makes no difference. The State legalizes gambling for it's benefit and calls it the lottery. Folks should be able to do it as well on their own if they chose too.

I'll always side with "freedom".

I enjoy betting on college football. I take a look at spreads on Fridays and place a bet with a local "bookie" usually that evening. I do high stakes gambling, betting up to $10 a weekend. Parlays are fun to bet on, and it sure makes games more interesting that otherwise I'd have no interest in. Fwiw, I was up $20 for 2022

Need sports betting and casinos and dog tracks. Lotto is gambling too and we got that. Learn some self control if you have a problem

Let's do it. I have no control of what's under that lotto wax. Atleast I'll have a little bit of control of sports betting.

Nothing good will come of this. If self control was the answer there wouldn’t be addiction clinics.
