Will Georgia ever allow sports betting?

Casinos and sports betting don’t seem to get much traction in GA. Should one be allowed but not the other?

It’s a very tightly regulated industry in other states. BIL is a compliance officer in NV working three casinos. I’m not sure how online betting works.

They already have a donut tire, nothing preventing two donut tires. Maybe we can feel sorry for them and have gambling debt cancellation along with bad college debts.
I am all for it, but it gets old that the very people who can’t afford to smoke, drink, play lotto, go to Beyoncé concerts and buy energy drinks are also among the 47% who pay zero taxes and ride the EBT.

Sorry for the rant, I just had a new college hotshot suggest speed bumps to slow the forklifts down, since we have had a few minor issues with damages.

I’ve seen them everywhere also.

This is just one reason there should be a separation in Church and State. GOD gives man Free Choice but the Baptists don't.

Went to Harrah's for the first time recently. Discovered I am not a gambler. I hear there is a strategy for slots? I couldn't even figure out what a winning spin was and people I was with kept complaining spins they thought were winners lost so they clearly didn't get it either.

I put $60 down at a Blackjack table with a $25 min bet. Figured I'd maybe win a few but ultimately pass some time by. Somehow, I was up to $147.50 (I don't get how, the dealer handed me the chips on my winning hands that added up to that) and I started to freak out I was gonna lose it all. Which would have been fine in the big picture but I decided to pick 'em up and go cash out so I could buy me and the wife some extra goodies at dinner.

The rest of the time I was perfectly happy wandering around, hitting the food hall for the occasional snack, the band at the big center piece bar was good, and I socialized with other people in our group. Watching tennis and MMA in the sports book chairs with a cocktail and a snack was pretty cool too. I got no desire at all to gamble on anything at all though.

We go up to Bryson City a few times a year for the outdoor stuff, I can see going back Harrah's for the food hall and music environment on a night visit but I got no need to stay there and I got no need at all to gamble anymore.

Yes, because hitting a speed bump and dumping the whole load of whatever is on the forklift when the angle and/or center of gravity shifts suddenly is the smart play!

I just do it the old way and use a real human bookie. I really enjoy betting point spreads on college football
