Paulding County checking in! Just got up in the oak with a beechnut tree as cover over looking a hardwood bottom. Thankful for the rain this am while at church slipped in quiet as a mouse. Almost brought the crossbow because I realized my miss the other day splintered an arrow. So I have one arrow and one missing a vane if I make a bad shot and have to finish one off.

Set up in a hardwood finger surrounded by thick pines. I can hear nuts hitting the ground in front of me. Let’s see who lives in this neighborhood

In a standard issue pine waiting on the standard issue 8 point to show up. He's extremely regular down this main trail thats at 25 yards. So definitely wont see him tonight

Up in Wilkes this afternoon. Got settled in at 3:54 and had the first deer come in at 3:55. Seen 4 so far, one small buck and 3 does.

I just had two hens come by me a bit ago.

I keep getting these whiffs of something god awful….and it is definitely me.

Did a little too much work around the property between hunts.
