Sitting at the corner of a cattle pasture in a finger of hardwoods. Was able to get into the stand without bumping any deer. I dont know if that is a good or bad sign.

Finally settled in Hancock. Transition pines to hardwood. Last night somebody, no it wasn't me, spilled beer on my shirt that was treated with permathrin. Sprayed it with scent killer and put on dash with defrost on. Shirt still smells but now so does truck. Had to leave it behind. Think I can hear all the parasites salivating.

Where the hardwoods meet the pines in merriweather county. Lower third of a steep south facing slope up above a decent sized bottom. Drenched with sweat but got in quiet. Service sucks

Been covered up all morning. Had several smalls bucks that presented good shots. Had two big does come in and they stayed right behind some thick stuff at 30 yards for 30 minutes before the wind shifted and they trotted out of there.
