I bought a custom long bow from “Jerry Hill” his nephew....is this possibly the same guy ? His bow company is out of business now I believe. It was a fine bow.

No, Jerry was another nephew. Tom J. Hill was a tall fellow, and he knew archery.

When they made the movie "RobinHood," with Earl Flynn, Hill was on set as a technical advisor and reportedly did some of the trick shots for Flynn.
