I believe you have to get an import permit from ATF. Canada has such a Communist leaning Government and citizens, I would not buy anything knowingly from Canada.

What type of ammo you looking for? I have never had a problem bringing ammo out of Canada in my personal truck on a hunting trip. U.S. Customs have never asked if I had ammo or not.

You can import it but it will require ITAR paperwork for import into the U.S. set ya back about 2500 bucks last time I checked plus importer fees
