Awesome Experience with Jebs Chokes in Hazlehurst!

Went over to see Bobby & Jimmy with Jebs Precision Chokes in Hazlehurst yesterday. Great folks and an outstanding product that I would definitely recommend.

We got out to their range and they had a few different chokes to try in my Beretta A400 to determine which constriction and load it liked. We shot 3.5" Hevishot 7's and Nitro Megaweight Blend 3.5 4x5x6x7's in it.

The first choke we tried ended up being the winner after trying all three. The gun shot the hevishot pretty well but absolutely hammered with the Nitro 4x5x6x7. With a .655 choke it put 303 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards and 466 in the 20" circle.

I just wanted to urge anyone who is looking for a quality product and great customer service to give them a shout. I know they will swap out chokes with the customer if you need to change constrictions to get the pattern where you want it. Not many folks out there that will do that as far as I know.

Don't post that in here, everyone on here will tell you how over priced they are:). I for one am all for paying for customer service . I never understood how you can spend 1500.00 for a gun to kill a bird when a 300.00 dollar gun will do the same and then complain when people spend a little more on a choke.

I agree with you brother. They aren't cheap but to be able to go there and get the customer service they provide is well worth it IMO.

Great pattern. Congrats on the new choke. Don't see it getting much better than that.

I don't mind paying for customer service as well.

I don't get it either. Some also complain about the cost of ammo as well. facepalm:

Nice pattern! That should do the job!

I for one have no issue in spending good money for equipment....the choke I use actually costs the same as the Jeb's. For me it is piece of mind knowing that if you do your job, the equipment will do it's job.

$100 is a small price to pay for something that will last a turkey hunting career in most cases....

Best of luck this spring!!!

Am I reading the picture right 2 7/16 Oz loads. I think that was the Oz load nitro recommend for my 835

Same load I shoot in my SBE 2 as well. I shot #7 Hevi-Shot though.

I reckon I need to try some, my 2.25oz nitros are good but I'll try some 2 7/16oz ones. Combo looks deadly plus megaweight think it's closer to 15g/cc which should only carry the knockdown further.

Great pattern.

thanks for the review, i've been looking for a good choke for the A400. I might have to check out their duck chokes.

The Mega Weights are 13g/cc.
