When I first got into the gun business I couldn’t afford colts and the seven serpents. But I realized beretta had a line named after cats. I have collected these extensively and I can say they are all top notch firearms. The only exception with the beretta cat guns are the early production tomcats. They were prone to slide cracking. I think the new production ones are rectified now. But I have a soft spot for the cheetah series and honestly it’s one of my favorite. I have one I received used and put several thousand rounds of 380 through it. I love it. You cannot go wrong it’ll do you well. Waiting for one of the new ones to come out of allocation for my personal collection.
