Big Hammock

Not this year. With all the rain we are getting in south Georgia this week, I would not recommend it any time soon. Sure you can come in from the river, and that may be your best bet. One spot which I like when driving in the property is dicey is right on the side of 144? I think that's the number of the highway. Anyway, park at the property boundary and hike in about 300 yards(please stay on the WMA side of the boundary), then turn back toward the river. You will step right out of the pines into traditional riverbottom. Pick a tree which gives a good view of the creek and the big pines. Get there early and stay late. You will see hogs on most any visit.

It is dry

It's dry. I went last week and the roads are fine. We used the range and only had time to drive the roads before it got dark.
