Bobcat and fox seasons

Throwback

Chief Big Taw
Why don’t people let Coon hunters hunt their property when deer and Coon season coincides if coins really are a problematic eating their deer corn?

It's because once upon a time even southern prime furs were valuable. But they were not prime until winter so furbearer season was the same as trapping season.

Coyote being non native never had similar protections and beaver are quite obvious why they are fair game year round throughout the pine belt.

We could be like the Carolinas where the fox hound hunters had several counties locked out on trapping all together for fox.
