Brunswick stew

Smoked a Boston butt & 2 whole chickens yday from 11-9 ..put stew on at 8pm , added meat at 9 , cooked 2 crock pots full overnight..good day for it came out outstanding!

Yes sir. That's what Brunswick stew is supposed to look like! I don't want my stew looking the same as my vegetable soup.

Looks good. I made some a couple weeks ago for the 1st time and it turned out great. I’m going to make another batch soon and freeze some.

We started replacing the lima beans with butter beans, everyone seems to enjoy the swap.

Looks great ! I've turned into a brunswick stew connoisseur, I've been known to drive 2hrs on a Saturday night from Douglasville to Ellijay back when there was a little bbq place on hwy 52 right outside Ellijay, had the best Brunswick stew I've ever had ! The wife and I didn't know what we wanted to eat, it was pretty chilly out, she said stew, I said Brunswick, she said the only one we liked recently was that place in Ellijay, and off we went ! lol
