Polish has meat and rice, German has meat and kraut, great either way.

My M-I-L made the meat and rice ones but put a layer of sauer kraut down underneath as a buffer between the pan and cabbage.
Darn good also.
I put a bed of extra cabbage down as the buffer.
I hear them called cabbage rolls, halubki, golobki, halupki and a few other names.
