Planning a trip next spring to fish the white river a couple of days. I’ve pretty much decided on using cotter trout dock for guiding but does anyone have any recommendations on lodging? Thanks

I've been to Cotter a handful of times with my father fishing and we've always stayed in Mountain Home at the Hampton Inn. Not a bad drive from there to the trout dock either. We also used Cotter Trout Dock for guiding as well, you will be in good hands and should have a great time.

Cotter Trout Lodge is good. Several nice Airbnb options in the area.

That’s where I grew up fishing. Ask for Cheeko or Elvin as guides out of CTD. Elvin’s son Paden is also a stud (caught a 37 pound brown 2 years back).

Many fond memories there, and many big fish. Picture of me and Cheeko with a stud out of Armstrong Hole.

I'm diamond member with Hilton honors so I've always stayed in mountain home at the Hampton as well. I've fished out of Gene's trout resort and they have cabins on the water but I've never stayed anywhere other than the mountain home Hampton.
