No dish washer or scrubbing.

My coffee mug never gets washed, only rinsed and wiped down on the outside. The generic brand stainless insulated travel mug gets a wash and triple rinse after a trip. It will keep hot to good and warm or cold to good and cool for 4 to 5 hours. I believe that part of the insulation is the shiny inside.

Great tip...Denture cleaner is amazing to clean all kinds of stuff thermos included!

That will take the bad fish smell out of a cooler.

Have a stainless Yeti mug also. How about the clear lid? Mine looks nasty, brown stains. My wife gets disgusted every time she sees it. Thinks I am flirting with dysentery. I tell her, not to worry bout it. What say you?

I have one I keep ice water in all day and it gets brown too.

Wet it, put a drop or two of dish detergent on it and sprinkle it with baking soda. Use a brush and scrub it good and rinse it off.
Should be like new.
