Yes. Adult or jake. Most jakes are 3 to 4 inches.

Alabama asks spurs lengths also. Be nice if Georgia would add that as some mature birds have beard rot or no beard but based on the question they ask would be considered a Jake.

Agree, that would be nice just so they have better information. My son killed one during youth weekend that had beard rot. 3-4" beard total. But definitely a mature turkey.

In aggregate, it probably wouldn't make a big difference in terms of their decision making though. Probably less than 5% of birds killed would be like this if I had to guess.

If I kill a mature bird with less than 6” beard I think I’m just gonna mark it as 6” or greater beard on the questionnaire. I know what they are trying to accomplish with the question so I’ll just fudge the answer to provide the accurate information.
