Jeff C, your transplanted grass should take off now, unless it drowns.

You got that right, this is the 1st significant rain I've had on it except for a sprinkle. It's looking pretty good with the exception a few spots I knew would probably bite the dust. By the end of the Summer I'll have runners growing out of it.

Just read back. Y'all got me wondering now. Wonder how things were in Flatwoods.
Rain set in here now. Sitting on the porch with a drink. Not a bad day.
Good thing you're on the porch, they just showed another poss. 20 mins. west of Monck's Corner, which puts it over the lake. Also the first one is still visible moving to the south west.

Came through Allendale this morning early.
Purdy land aint it? Not much left of the town. H22 grew up on a huge plantation. His Dad managed the land that used to be owned by Continental can company. Name of the place WAS Butterfield Plantation. I only went into the beautiful hunting plantation house once. His family lived in a small house on the property. Went on my 1st deer hunting trip there.
