Early Spring fishing destination

I’m trying to plan a trip for this coming spring/late winter. Probably February or March. Just not sure where the best fishing is that time of year. I’ve talked with a guide in NE Florida who said redfish are good fishing then. But any ideas for good spots that time of year would be appreciated

Florida sounds a lot better than here in Feb-March. The water is about 33 degrees here, then. I'd definitely go south.

Go to the St Johns River and catch you a limit of bream or crappie or bass everyday.

Depending on river conditions, Lake Erie steelhead will be going off then...
Cheap flights are available if your schedule is flexible.

Louisiana redfish can be great then. It's always a crapshoot with weather in the winter though.
