They're nothing compared to their little yellow cousins tho... just ask the O.P.The last time I caught white bass was at Lake Pleasant in Arizona decades ago. Man those things hit a lure like a sledgehammer!
I can't even imagine what that would be like if that's the case. They're nothing compared to their little yellow cousins tho... just ask the O.P.
Think hand sized, fresh water, Goliath Grouper with razor blades on their gills. The world record is just under 3 pounds and I'd want my 12 foot shore caster with 75lb. Ande to tangle with one that size.I can't even imagine what that would be like if that's the case.
Live well full of good eating meat right there.Got out a few times the last couple of weeks. Absolutely slayed some white bass two out of the three trips. 150-200 fish for three folks in 4-5 hrs. Was winding down considerably the last time out. My wife has found she really likes striper fishing as part of her retirement!
