I can't help you with the ditch pickles... other than I catch a heap of them at Eufaula crappie fishing. I would definitely fish Grass Creek (around the bend down river from Florance)...ditch pickles are always stacked in there.
Yes, sir. Fished all over down there as a boy. Go south down to Ga side inlet where Grass and Turner Creek meet. Used to nail them there easily on Manns jelly worms and Hellbenders. (Shows you how dated I am) But I believe if you try similar items they will still work. On down is Rood Creek, which I liked even better. Good luck.
