Fall smallmouth

Went to check on my little smallmouth buddies and I'm happy to report that they're just crushing
a top water bug right now.
Caught several about this size.
They're a handful on a 6wgt.

I love catching smallmouth on the fly rod. I live right next to a river full of them. I need to get down there more often than I do.
