Fire break/ roadbed seed????

I have brand new fire breaks that are 11' wide and basically new roads. I also have the sides of new gravel roads. I need to establish them with some grass seed after the heat breaks. I want something I don't have to reseed. What seed would you sow? Rye and fall grasses will just burn up. Fescue is high dollar. What would you sow? 1 mile road sides and 1 mile road and sides. North West Georgia. Thanks

I don’t know if it’ll grow that far north but I use Bahia.
Here in central Ga it seem to work well. It’s drought tolerant and seeds itself.
I think it needs 70* nights to germinate.

Durana clover is what I would do

Just do Brown top millet, it's cheap and it'll come up in concrete.

Definitely going to plant some. Will it come back or reseed itself? I just don't want to replant again every year.

You'll have more issues trying to get rid of it than it reseeding itself, it'll have plenty of seed to reseed next year.

wheat oats or rye. Plant in early October. The clover will take off in the spring
