First hunt of the season!

I went on my first duck hunt of the season, all be it highly unprepared.
After a brief scout, i decided to try it! I couldn't hardly sleep last night, and jumped up early this morning. I was greeted by a 20-30 mph wind! Got down in my hole only to have the birds light down stream! I didnt' even fire a shot, but man was it great to be out there and see the world come to life! I'll go back tomorrow, but this time i know where to go!

Haven't done any duck hunting, but I'm sure it's addictive like deer and turkey hunting. Best of luck, hope you get your limit!

I also went today with some buddys. We saw about 20 ducks all right in front of us easy shots but we only killed 4 of them pretty bad shooting on our part.
