Whoa, this whopper monster swamp lizard is only a few inches short of Florida's state record. This gator hunter sounds like he really knows what he's doing.:bounce:

We watched this gator prior to our state hunts beginning . We were going to give him a try but he didnt make it long enough . The 12'8" we got wasnt very far from where this one was caught . The big boys are getting few and far between on this lake . The one we caught was the only one over 12 we seen out of 4 nights . We passed a many of 7-9 footers to finally get lucky and get what we got .

Had that happen to us on Seminole last year. I guess it snapped at a boat on Sunday , they called the DNR on Thursday before opener he was a goner.
