I often reflect back on the experiences Spud and I have had together. I think about the late nights, the rainy tracks, the miles ran, and the 30° swims. I think about the close calls, the almosts and of course I remember the successes. However, nothing can replace the handshakes and hugs I’ve received because of a dog named Spud. Yesterday we drove down to South Georgia to spend the day with Spud’s Lady, her family and five brand new pups. There is a legacy in the making and I am thankful for being on the journey with these fine folks.
