Great Toccoa Tailwater winter action

The winter time fishing on the Toccoa tailwater is getting hot. A couple of days ago, I managed to begin and end my day with two spectacular fish. In between there was a good batch of SNITS. I've been catching most of the fish on either big stonefly nymphs or BWO nymph patterns and occasionally dries. The mid and late day has seen pretty good hatches of sz 18-20 bwos, which sometimes inspire some risers.
This rainbow made for a great way to start the day.

Then, at about 4:50 pm I saw a good fish chasing baitfish. I dropped a big stonefly nymph on top of it and luckily the fish ate it without regard. What ensued was a great fight...
