Gun hunting in Cherokee county

I live in Cherokee county and I’m new to hunting I mainly bow hunt but thought about trying with a gun does anyone know the actual regulations or laws as far as gun hunting on private property in Cherokee count like how far from other homes you have to be I can’t find anything online about it

Go to municode.com and look up Cherokee County in the directory. Cities and counties cannot regulate hunting but they can do other stuff to mess you up.

50 yards off the county road and make sure you aren't in the city limits. I'm pretty sure there is no specific distance from a house.

I’d look at the hunting regs too. Abide by the strictest code and you’ll be good….I bet you’ll have no problems outside city limits though.

I know someone that gun hunts up near waleska in Cherokee county on a smqlltrqct of land. perfectly legal. don't know the specific regs but as said before just make sure you are not in city limits as they have different rules. no firearms at all in woodstock for example
