HAWG HEAVEN! Nacoochee Trip!

Well guys, I made it up to fish nacoochee bend on Saturday with my friend JT. The weather forcast looked great as we arrived in town about 8am. We checked in got geared up and hit the water. Black stone with a size 18 tan caddis emerger to start with at the falls. Instant hookups for both of us. We both bring in about 18 inch fish. Great way to start the day. We caught fish after fish on this setup and even dropping a green copper john off the back as well. People started trickling into town around 1030 11 and stopping and feeding the fish. This turned them off to anything that didnt resemble a pellet. SO we threw tan elk hair caddis and instantly got hook ups again. Stayed with that for a while and then switched to a pellet imitation. Lost count on fish, and caught so many we just net released them without photo ops for a while. We worked our way down river, again going natural with the stone and caddis emerger. I used Pts, and copper johns as well. Even caught a few fish on Clousers and Sex dungeons. IT was a great day to say the least. Enjoy some PICS!

manages that section called Nacoochee Bend. I believe you have to have been a client with a guide before, and they will let you self guide yourself after that for a fee. The fee is reasonable, especially for a shot at fish like those.

I've gotten to fish up there before! My dad and I flat wore em out! I know they're fed alot and all that stuff, but man is it fun catching those monsters!!

I believe it's also fly fishing only. My little brother is fishing up there this weekend for the kids day.
