Hobby Lobby Scrap Scabbard for a Shrade Sharpfinger...

I've been wanting to take a stab, if you will, at making an old school rough-it looking sheath for my Sharpfinger. Since it's raining and I ain't been seeing no deer anyway, today is the day.

Now, this is rough-it for sure, and I just made it up as I went, but it wound up scratching an itch I've had for 40 years.

One thing is sure. Ain't nobody else got one...




Gotta try and age them rivets, but I like it...

Nothing wrong with that sheath. Them sharpfingers have cleaned a lot of deer thru the years.

That's cool and a neat design of your own. I made some rough sheaths for some knives that didn't have very good sheaths with leather from Hobby Lobby. I have an old sharpfinger but I never had a problem with it's leather sheath. There's just something about Skinners and that curvy sheath.
