It makes my head hurt trying to think of all the scenarios. I'm sure I missed a thousand other ways....

1.Georgia 12-0 (vs 8 Alabama 11-1) Sat 4pm

2. Michigan 12-0 (vs 18 Iowa 10-2) Sat 8pm

3. Washington 12-0 (vs 5 Oregon 11-1) Fri 8pm

4. Florida State 12-0 (vs 15 Louisville 10-2) Sat 8pm

5. Oregon 11-1 (vs Washington 12-0) Fri pm

6. Ohio State 11-1 (Nobody. They're done. Eliminated)

7. Texas 11-1 (vs Oklahoma state 9-3) Sat 12pm

8. Alabama 11-1 (vs Georgia 12-0) Sat 4pm

Obviously, the top 5 are in with a win tonight and tomorrow, but what else?

How does Georgia get in?

1. Win against Bama

2. Lose a close game to Bama (1-10pts).

3. Lose to Bama by 10-14 pts and either fsu or michigan loses, and Texas loses.

4. Lose to Bama by 20+ and Michigan, Florida st, and Texas all lose.

How does Michigan get in?

1. Win against Iowa

2. Lose a close game against Iowa, fsu loses, UGA gets blown out, and Texas either loses or barely wins.

How does Washington get in?

1. Win against Oregon

2. Lose to Oregon and UGA gets blown out, and FSU, Mich, Texas lose

How does Florida state get it in?

1. Win against Louisville

How does Oregon get in?

1. Win against Washington

How does Ohio State get in?

1. A bunch of dirty money

How does Texas get in?

1. Blow out Ok State, and hope 3 out of the top 4 get blown out( uga, mich, fsu, wash)

How does Bama get in?

1. Barely beat UGA. FSU and Texas lose.

2. Blow out UGA, and either FSU, Mich, or Texas gets blown out.

Alabama wins against the dawgs in a squeaker OT. Texas wallops Iowa state. Alabama mafia pays the committee a visit. Alabama is in, Texas is out.

And undefeated Liberty 13-0 claims part of the National Championship.

Washington is in, Texas is looking to beat OSU. So even if Bama beat UGA (which I can't imagine) I don't think they leapfrog Texas and make it in. Oregon drops. So Texas moves up...probably to 5. Oregon and OSU are out of the hunt.

I think we see UGA, Michigan, Washington, and FSU...I think Michigan wins, FSU wins, Washington has, and hoping UGA will...

Yea AL would have to blow out GA to make it I’m afraid. And after seeing TX that probably won’t be enough.

It was fun to look back at the “definite” scenarios in the OP. But alas, the committee whooped em again with all their smoke and mirrors.
