Basic cobbler...pear....with a twist!
I used Forrest Dilmores' s cobbler recipe with New south customs twist of adding some Tennessee honey whiskey to the mix. The pic is the cobbler with the Tennessee honey whiskey glaze poured over before going back in the oven to set it.

Looks good. Cobblers are always pretty sweet like fruit pies. The vanilla ice cream tones it down a little. Can you share his recipe? Isn't he a competition cook?

Yup....Forrest Dilmore Jr. is one of the finest competition cooks I know. I will share his recipe....I know I am gonna have to rub his feet for this!...
Simple D O cobbler.... equal parts milk, sugar, self rising flour and fruit....

When I eat a dessert after a meal, I like something lite like pumpkin pie, trifle, or tiramisu. If later in the night then bring on the pecan pie or cobbler.
Was it your glaze that put it over the top?

BB looks great. If too sweat I just add a glass of cold milk and enjoy. That looks real good there.
