The wife wanted deer spaghetti, I wanted Italian but something different; so I took to the YouTube’s. Came across two big Italian fellas making homemade meatballs. I followed their recipe pretty close, but I used 2lbs of ground venison and 1lb of ground mild Italian pork sausage. Mixed it all together and seared them up in my cast iron skillet. Finished them up in some Rao’s marinara sauce churched up with diced onion, chopped garlic and fresh parsley, and some dried basil. Let the meatballs simmer for about 30 minutes in the sauce. Served over some angel hair pasta.

I have actually becone fond of Rao's. I doesn't Seem to have as much acid as others. I will only use their pizza sauce Now. It is pricey but for me worth it.
