My buddy Rodneyand myself got 5 of his dogs out for the first time this year. This pack was a mixture of young and old dogs that have most have not had any work this year. Several of them Had heart worms and were treated and this day was the first day they could hunt per the vet. Several of these dogs with heartworms were given to him by another hunter who wanted slower dogs. His best dog is laid up with a torn tendon that is fixed but she isnt released to hunt/run until a month or so.
What does all of this mean? Well hunting Public land and out of shape dogs we would be lucky to kill one. watch and see what happens!
